About Pilgrim Lutheran Church

Pilgrim Lutheran Church is a congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (www.elca.org) through the New England Synod (www.nesynod.org). We are also a part of the Lutheran World Federation (www.lutheranworld.org), an international organization of Lutheran Churches united for service throughout the world.

With other Lutheran Christians we believe

• In the triune God: Father, Son and Holy Spirit

• Because of Jesus' death and resurrection, our sins are forgiven through God's amazing grace

• Because God has saved us, our life in the world is one of              grateful service to others and all creation

• For us to serve others, the Holy Spirit has gathered Pilgrim Lutheran Church as a community of God’s people

Gathered by the Holy Spirit, our life is marked by these truths:

• Jesus is Lord

• Everyone is welcome

• Love changes people

• Everyone has God-given gifts and something to offer

• The world needs what God shares with us
